The Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Community Advancement Fund (HTLCCAF) was established in 2005 after the passing of Marjorie A. Toothaker in 2004, a lifelong member of Holy Trinity. She bequeathed over $2 million to the church, specifying that the interest earned from this fund over a ten-year period be given “to needy persons, primarily in Summit County.”
We welcome your application for the consideration of the Approval Board of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Community Advancement Fund. Applications will be accepted quarterly, with due dates on the last day of the months of March, June, September, and December. Within thirty days after each deadline, the Approval Board will meet to review and evaluate the requests, and grant money to those organizations they have selected and recommended. All decisions of the Approval Board will be final, although applicants may
reapply for funding. The Approval Board will be solely responsible for all decisions pertaining to the fund and reserves the right to change any action or requirement as deemed appropriate.
The Approval Board will accept applications from established organizations or collaborative groups that have a clear purpose in the community for the money requested and can substantiate their goals with estimates and report outcomes.
